Style: one skirt, three looks
Natalie and I randomly picked up these adorable polka dot skirts for our girls. so naturally, it was the perfect opportunity to style it three ways. and even more perfect when we got to match the outfits to their little (err big) personalities.
Versatility is the name of the game here. This tulle skirt from H&M is especially cute for the number of ways it can be worn - whether dressed up or down, it scores major style points in our books. And to boot, the girls each picked it out themselves, so we know they love it too.
Mila looooves everything and anything to do with cats. She will undoubtedly be a crazy cat lady when she eventually moves out. We've toughened up her image with this faux leather jacket from Zara, a Metallica cat tee and Adidas Superstar sneaks. A kitty cross-body purrrse (see what I did there?!) finishes her rocker-chic look.
Mini is more of a rough and tumble kind of gal. She doesn't sit still and is definitely the sporty spice of this band of girls. To be honest, this isn't the outfit we had in mind for her, but when things started going sideways in the temper department, we caved and she got to layer her red Joe Fresh tee under a grey zipper front hoodie from H&M. She's in a pair of Adidas Stan Smith's. After some shameless bribery she happily modelled the outfit with a denim jacket for us.
Amelia is an as sweet as pie girly girl at heart, but on the day of this shoot she had a bit of a judy-attitudy streak in her. We paired her skirt with an edgy plaid Polo button down that we knotted at the belly. Black tights and a pair of lace up booties from Zara (old) completes her grundge-esque look. I mean, what's not to love here?!
